Living with the frustrations
of a bowel disorder

"A low-volume system helps me regain control and gives me the confidence to help me trust my body."

Carina | Living with a bowel disorder

Over 40%

of people worldwide suffer from functional bowel disorders.1

That’s a world of physical discomfort – and it can be frustrating to talk
about even with your nurse or doctor. Without a clear diagnosis, it can
be all too easy to try multiple treatment options without finding the relief
you are looking for.

Take the Bowel Check

If you are in doubt about how to start an effective conversation with your nurse or doctor, or what may be most important information to share, take the 2-minute bowel check to get a summary that you can use to initiate that conversation.

Low-volume TAI

Low-volume TAI (transanal irrigation) is a proven therapy for chronic
bowel disorders that’s quick to learn and simple to use at home or out
and about. It uses a hand-held device which introduces water into the
bowel via the rectum. The water flushes out the stool and the content
from the bowel is evacuated.
